When you appreciate a good party with those you love and are the most important to you, there aren’t many nights better than New Year’s Eve to tie the knot. After covering this wedding, I’m a firm believer in stacking celebrations.
This Mechanics Hall wedding in Worcester, Mass., featured a ten-piece band (The K2 band from Kahootz Entertainment) that helped rock the night away in this grand hall surrounded by massive portraits of famous presidents. The champagne flowed freely all night. The couple chose mini trumpets as their wedding favors, which of course carried a special New Year’s appeal.
After a fun engagement around Boston harbor a year earlier, this couple were old pros in front of the camera. Nanore, my wife and partner-in-crime, joined me in covering this wedding. We followed the couple from the main prep at the bride’s parents’ home to the candle-lit isle at Mechanics Hall, right to the midnight countdown and a bit of celebration late into the night.
