The Old State House in Boston was the first place the Declaration of Independence was read, but for this couple, it was the place where they made their declaration of love. It was an intimate wedding consisting of mostly family. The groom’s father (a minister) presided over the ceremony. I was brought in for pre-wedding portrait work and of course a candid coverage of the evening.
As old and historic as the building is, it was actually quite the challenging location: neither flash nor tripods are allowed in its gently lit interior, not to mention the old squeaky floors. Ninja mode activate! In the end, it was a beautiful ceremony and venue, and as a lover of Boston’s history, just an awesome wedding to cover.
